330 CSE students complete Spoken Tutorial courses of IIT Bombay
The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP and MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. via an easy video tool, namely, Spoken Tutorials. The Spoken Tutorial project is an initiative of the “Talk to a Teacher” activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, and developed at IIT Bombay.
Recently, in Vidya, as many as 330 CSE students studying in B Tech as well as M Tech programmes complected Spoken Tutorial courses in various software packages and successfully completed the test organized in the College by Ms Aswathy M R (AP, CSE Dept) with course materials provided by IIT Bombay. Ms Divya K V (AP, CSE Dept) invigilated the examination.
