It was a belated recognition of the academic accomplishments and potential of Dr Sudha Balagopalan from KTU when the authorities of the University finally approved Dr Sudha Balagopalan, Dean-Academics, as a Research Supervisor of the University. Brief profile of Dr Sudha Balagopalan
- PhD (Power Systems) NIT, Calicut
- Before being appointed as Dean-Academics in Vidya, has served Vidya in several positions, as Principal, as Professor and Head of EEE Dept and as Lecturer in EEE Dept. Has served as an Assistant Engineer in KSEB, as Design Engineer in EPCO Kuwait and as Scientific Officer (Engineer) in BARC, Trombay.
- Areas of research interest include power system, system dynamics, control systems, game theory, protection, circuit theory.
- Published several papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings.
- Organized two international conferences in Vidya.
- Fellow of MIEEE, MIET and life member of ISTE.
