WISSEN 2022: Vidya’s online talent hunt with a prize money of Rs.15 lakhs!
On WISSEN 2022
WISSEN 2022 was an online examination conducted by Vidya under the VIBE 2022 (Vidya Initiative for Better Engineering 2022) project to identify and promote school students who show high talent in and aptitude for studying in the fields of science and engineering. This examination was also designed to help the students who are preparing for the KEAM/JEE/NEET examinations to get exposure to the fields of science and engineering. The WISSEN 2022 was conducted on 19 – 20 February 2022.
The rewards
Students who secured the first, second and third positions in WISSEN 2022 (both PCM and PCB streams) were awarded cash prizes of Rs.10,000, Rs.7500 and Rs.5000 respectively. In addition, students who are among the top 50 ranks would be eligible to get scholarships worth more than Rs.15 lakhs if they joined Vidya for their higher studies after qualifying in KEAM. These scholarships would be offered on the regular tuition fees and the student will be eligible for any one scholarship offered by Vidya, at a time.
Scholarship Details
- Top 20 ranks: Rs. 10,000/- per year from tuition fees for 4 years (total: Rs. 40,000).
- Ranks 21 to 50: Rs. 7,500/- per year for 4 years (total: Rs.30,000)

The examinations were conducted in the online mode as per the following schedule:

Participation
As many as 1069 students registered for WISSEN 2022 of whom 509 students attended Paper 1 – Physics and Chemistry E xam, 280 students attended Paper 2 (a) – Mathematics and 210 students attended Paper 2 (b)- Biology.
