Student Senate activities inaugurated
Programme “Sagnika”
The activities of the Student Senate of the academic year 2021-22 were inaugurated in a programme named “SAGNIKA” and held on 4 March 2022 in the College Auditorium (Pranavam). Principal Dr Saji C B, Heads of various Departments and the newly elected Chairman and other office bearers of the Senate graced the occasion by their presence on the dais.
Principal’s talk
In his presidential speech, Principal Dr Saji C B congratulated all newly elected Senate members and offered his support for all the future activities. He added that the welfare of students and development of the college would always be his priority and all legitimate demands of the students will be heard and fulfilled. The activities of the Student Senate 2021 – 22 were officially inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by the Principal along with the dignitaries on the dais.
Oath taking
The newly elected office bearers and members of the Student Senate took oath and officially assumed their responsibilities. In the oath, the senate members swore that they would obey the rules and regulations of the college and would work for the smooth conduct of the programs and activities organized by the student senate.
After the oath taking ceremony, the Senate Chairman Mr Diljith Muchiruparambil and the General Secretary Mr Aravind K.R addressed the gathering with words of determination and leadership. Finally, Ms Megha Joshy, Vice-Chairperson, delivered the vote of thanks to all gathered for the programme.
Entertainment events
Thereafter, the students presented a variety of cultural programs that led the excitement and happiness of the day to a higher level.
