ECE Dept’s KTU-CERD student project shortlisted for presentation

A Student Project titled “Smart Cloakroom Rack System for Temples and Shopping Malls” submitted to CERD of KTU for financial assistance by a group of students in the ECE Dept has been shortlisted for presentation before an expert  panel of the University. The Principal Investigator of the project is Mr Rakesh V S (AP, ECE Dept), the Co-Principal investigator is Mr. Ramesh CR (AP, ECE Dept) and the group of students comprises of Vijay P K, Simi C P, Karthika K K and Vishnunarayanan C A. On CERD scheme

The KTU scheme under the Centre for Engineering Research and Development (CERD) is for providing financial assistance to innovative projects by under graduate students of Government, aided and
Government controlled self financing colleges. Under graduate students of private self financing colleges with at least one NBA accredited programme are eligible to apply. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to under graduate students (a group of students of 7th semester B.Tech and 9th semester B.Arch) of affiliated colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Based on the merits of the proposal, each project will be eligible for a maximum assistance of Rs 50,000/-.
