ME Dept conducts online PLC training for sixth semester students

Mechanical department organized an online programmable logic controller (PLC) training on 4 June 2022for the sixth semester B Tech (ME) students. Mr Akhil U V, PG Scholar, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, served as the resource person. Mr Arun K L (AP, ME Dept) lead the program. As many as 50 students participated in the program which was conducted.

A programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller is an industrial computer that has been ruggedized and adapted for the control of manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines, machines, robotic devices, or any activity that requires high reliability, ease of programming, and process fault diagnosis.
