Vidya students successfully completed add-on courses

Almost all students of Vidya successfully completed various add-on courses under spoken tutorials offered by IIT BOMBAY during the odd semester. More than 98% of the students certified themselves from the IIT BOMBAY spoken tutorials.

The whole programme was organized under Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) led by Dr Reji C Joy (Convenor, CCE and HoD,MCA). The technical support for the conduct of online courses and exam was offered by Mr Arun Xavier ( Asst Prof, EEE Dept). Students from all branches participated in the courses opted by the Department.

The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, LibreOffice etc. via an easy Video tool – Spoken Tutorials Google award winning MOOC. Students also benefited from this training as they could learn these add-on courses along with their regular academics.
