MCA organizes Achiever’s Day 2023-2024

The Department of Computer Applications came together to celebrate “Achievers Day”- a momentous occasion honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the students and faculty members of MCA on 16 April 2024. The event was a vibrant recognition and celebration, showcasing the remarkable achievements of our esteemed members.

Mr Manesh D (Department Co-ordinator, MCA) welcomed the gathering. Dr Reji C Joy (Professor & HoD, MCA) addressed the gathering. Dr.Saji C B (Principal) despite his absence, gave unwavering support. His motivation served as guiding beacons for all achievers, inspiring them to reach greater heights. Dr Sunitha C (Vice Principal) graced the occasion with her presence, adding a touch of honor and prestige to the event. Her encouragement and support have been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence within the department.

Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean Academics) whose gracious presence and felicitation added a touch of distinction to the event. Her recognition of the achievers not only validates their accomplishments but also reinforces our department’s commitment to nurturing talent and academic excellence.

The Department had the pleasure of honouring Dr Jisha Jose Panackal (Former faculty of MCA Department 2007-2017) whose innovative work has led to a patent titled” AdaptiveUtility-based anonymization: An Intelligent approach for Privacy preservingdata mining”, exemplifying the department’s commitment to ground breaking research and innovation. Additionally, the highlight of the event was the felicitation of Ph.D. recipient, Dr.Sajay K R (Associate Professor, MCA), whose dedication and scholarly contributions have brought immense pride to the department Furthermore, Department took pride in acknowledging the achievements of the students from the 2022-2024 batch who have secured placements, paving the way for successful careers ahead. Their accomplishments serve as a testament to the excellence fostered within the department.

Additionally, the Department celebrated the remarkable achievements of Ms Reshma P R (2019-2022 MCA batch) and other rank holders from the department in the KTU examinations. Their performances reflect the dedication and academic proficiency that define the department. Lastly, the academic topper based on semester results were also recognized, whose consistent excellence sets a benchmark for academic achievement within the department. The Department extends heartfelt congratulations to all the achievers and express deepest appreciation for their contributions to the department’s legacy of excellence.
