Vidya students attend Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (IDE) Bootcamp

Vidya equips students with the necessary skills and mindset to succeed in today’s dynamic business landscape.

A five-day Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (IDE) Bootcamp in Rajkot provided aspiring entrepreneurs with hands-on experience in startup building, industrial processes, and business strategies. RK University, in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), successfully hosted the second phase of “IDE Bootcamp 2025” during 17 – 21  February  2025 in Rajkot.

Vidya  students C D Adithyan (S6, AIML Dept), Manav Madhu (S6, CSE Dept),Adith C A (S6, ECE Dept), Adhithyan C G (S6, AIML Dept) and Nivin P Louis (S6, AIML Dept) attended the event that  featured expert-led sessions on ideation, business planning, and financial management, helping participants develop innovative startup ideas.

The  highlight of the bootcamp was industrial visits to a cotton factory and the Balaji Wafers plant, where attendees witnessed large-scale manufacturing processes firsthand. At the cotton factory, participants learned about textile production, supply chain management, and industry challenges. The visit to Balaji Wafers, one of India’s leading snack manufacturers, offered valuable insights into automation, quality control, and brand growth strategies.

This bootcamp gave them real-world exposure to how industries operate and what it takes to turn an idea into a successful business .The event concluded with startup pitch presentations, where attendees showcased their business ideas, receiving feedback from industry mentors.
