Alumni Interaction Session

Vidya aims to provide students with insights into industry expectations, career opportunities and professional growth through real-world experiences shared by successful alumni.

An alumni talk was delivered by Ms. Bhanupriya (Project Trainee at IICT GmbH, 2020-24 Batch,ECE Dept) on 09 December 2025, The session was organized with the objective of providing industry exposure and career guidance to the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Ms Fetsy K Francis (Asst Prof, ECE Dept)  introduced the speaker and coordinated the session efficiently, ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

During the session, Ms. Bhanuprya shared her academic journey, transition from campus to corporate life, and her experiences working in an international organization. She explained the importance of core technical knowledge, practical skills and continuous learning in the field of electronics and communication engineering. She also highlighted the role of internships, projects and certifications in securing opportunities in reputed companies.

Ms. Bhanuprya discussed the work culture at IICT GmbH, current industry expectations and emerging technologies relevant to ECE students. She provided valuable tips on resume building, interview preparation and adapting to professional environments. The session was interactive and students actively participated by asking questions related to higher studies, job roles and skill development.

Ms Fetsy K Francis (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) managed the flow of the program effectively, encouraged student interaction and facilitated the question-and-answer session, thereby making the talk more engaging, interactive and attractive for all the participants.
