EEE faculty member participates in AI-Focused Faculty Development Programme

Vidya faculty members enhance their knowledge and teaching competencies in Artificial Intelligence (AI) through participation in specialized Faculty Development Programmes.

The Department of EEE  is pleased to congratulate Dr. Neenu Thomas (Asso Prof ,EEE Dept) on successfully participating in the Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI-Driven Research Practices, Intellectual Property Rights & Patent Drafting” reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development, research excellence, and academic innovation.

The FDP was conducted from 15-21 July 2026 by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), College of Engineering Perumon, Kollam. The programme provided participants with valuable insights into the application of Artificial Intelligence in research, best practices in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and the fundamentals of patent drafting, enabling faculty members to strengthen their research, innovation, and intellectual property capabilities.

Dr. Neenu Thomas’s successful participation reflects her commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of emerging technologies and research methodologies. The knowledge gained through this programme will further contribute to enhancing research excellence, innovation, and academic quality within the department.
