NSS volunteers organize awareness class on solar eclipse
On 26 December 2019, the day on which a great solar eclipse happened, volunteers from the NSS Technical Cell of Vidya conducted an awareness class on solar eclipse at VVLP School, Chitilapilly. The programme was attended by children as well as adults in the locality of the school. The classes were held in nontechnical language aimed at helping the participants to understand the astronomical process behind a solar eclipse. The NSS volunteers encouraged participants to view the solar eclipse live using protective glasses.
