Vidya staff members adore the spirit of Onam with traditional fervour

Vidya resonated with Onam festivities and the members of staff were  busy lining up programmes to celebrate ‘Onam’ with all the pomp and gaiety on 02 September 2012 . The gorgeous pookalam symbolizes the spirit of unity and teamwork, as members of  Vidya, Mr Sreerag (TI, ME Dept), Mr Abhilash C G (TI, ME Dept), Mr Sudhan (TI, ME Dept) and Mr Arun Lal (TI, CSE Dept), gather together took all efforts to get it done along with the support of Vidya staff members. Mr Dijesh P (Asso Pro,f MCA Dept) and Mr Sankar R Asst Prof ME Dept) also co-ordinated the event under the leadership of  Ms Neenu Thomas ( Staff Club Secretary and Asst Prof, EEE Dept).

The auditorium witnessed a medley of various colorful dances by staff members. Some of the staff members were seen dancing away to glory to some of the folk, classical and semi-classical tunes include ‘Thriruvathirakali’, Onam songs , solo performances etc . These kind of celebrations has grown strong over the past  years and continues to be a powerful platform for showcasing talent and fostering teamwork. In line with the celebrations, ‘Onasadhya’ was served  .

The special day brings all employees in Vidya together and imbibe in them a spirit of comradeship and cheerfulness and reminded nostalgic moments in their heart.
