Vidya hosts special camp for NSS volunteers of HSS students from Thrissur district

Vidya always provides opportunities to enhance the real potential of young minds in response to the community needs at the micro-level through different kinds of programmes and activities that of include special camps.

With a view to involve the young leaders to empower and enrich them to be globally competent with the quality of leadership, ‘Vidya hosted a pre-camp orientation program christened ‘Velicham’ for the NSS volunteers of Higher Secondary School (HSS) students from Thrissur district during 02 – 04 December 2022.

More than 500  NSS volunteers together on a common platform for interactive learning and exposure with various activities  and  could develop their social consciousness and commitment to higher level . The NSS volunteers exhibit their talent in cultural programmes and the performances such as dance, song, and orchestra were a visual treat to the viewers.

In the valedictory session, Dr Saji C B (Principal) addressed the volunteers and encouraged them to enthusiastically contribute and dedicate  their  mind and soul in all the NSS activities.

The camp was thrived with the presence of various experts from different walks of life. The volunteers extended their gratefulness to the organizers for the fruitful classes that flourish themselves from inhibitions.

Mr Anil M (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) co-ordinated the entire training programme.
