CE Dept hosts Dept Alumni Interaction Series ‘Let’s Connect’
Vidya alumni deem in motivating engineering minds, enhancing their scholastic capacity and given that guidelines and motivations for a better career opportunities.
With an aim to line up individual objectives with proficient ambitions, an alumni engagement session was hosted interactive session christened ‘Let’s Connect’ on 30 October 2023 featuring former students of 2017- 2021 batch, Mr Mervin T Paul (Currently working as Project Manager, D Life Home interiors, Banglore) and Mr Mansoor Ali K (Currently working as Client Relation Manager-MAX TECVA LLP, Woodnest Developers, Chalakkudy.
They were welcomed and introduced, jointly by Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept) and Ms Chithra M (Asst Prof, CE Dept). During the interaction, they shared their experiences at Vidya Academy, emphasizing the importance of utilizing available opportunities and guidance for personal, academic, and character development. They underscored the significance of acquiring a diverse skill set during the four years on campus to stand out and excel in professional endeavours. They emphasized the idea that individual uniqueness holds greater value than grades, significantly impacting one’s life. The event was organized by Civil Engineering Association of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology.
Ms Vandana V (Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Mr Kiran Babu A R (Asst Prof, CE Dept) led the programme as co-ordinators. Ms Anitha N K (S1, CE Dept) concluded the session by offering feedback and expressing gratitude for their invaluable insight
