The odd semester of 2025 has kicked off at Vidya with great enthusiasm. With a strong commitment to student success, both teaching and non-teaching staff are dedicated to providing guidance and ensuring a smooth and meaningful start to the academic journey. The College formally commenced the academic year 2025 – 26 on 01 July 2025, with regular classes beginning for all batches of students, with the exception of the First Semester B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA batches. Leadership at the College has seen a recent change. With great respect, Vidya welcomes a significant transition in its academic leadership, as Dr. Shalij P R officially assumed charge as Director – Academics on 16 June 2025.With a distinguished academic background, extensive leadership experience, and a deep commitment to educational excellence,Dr. Shalij brings with him a passion for curriculum innovation and student-centric learning.Dr. Shalij’s appointment signals a renewed focus on shaping future generations through visionary, ethical leadership and in charting new academic directions for the institution. With the guidance of Dr. Shalij P R and the leadership of Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) supported consistently by the management and staff members, Vidya is poised to reach greater heights. Believing that every great journey begins with preparation, Vidya’s staff have taken proactive steps to equip students for success. With all essential materials ready, students are empowered to stay focused and make the most of every learning opportunity from the start. With Minor, Honors, and Elective classes in full motion, students are being empowered to carve unique paths and create their own place in academic history. Student-led initiatives and clubs—including (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC),National Service Scheme (NSS), Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC), Google Developer Students Club (GDSC), Free and Open Software users (FOSSers) Club) etc are back in action have actively resumed operations, with a noticeable rise in student engagement and involvement. With an aim to enhance their technical skills, broaden subject knowledge, and prepare them for industry-ready roles, Students are actively engaged in various online learning platforms and specialized programs, including NPTEL, Coursera, add-on courses, and training offered through Oracle Center of Excellence (CoE).
