Learning circle workshop by MuLearn

MuLearn enables students to network, achieve their goals, and demonstrate their abilities.

MuLearn Community of Vidya successfully conducted aLearning Circle workshop. The purpose of the session was to introduce participants to prompt driven full stack development, to share detailed insights into the ONDOT Next project (feedback generating app built by AikyamCommunity), and to spark interest in AI assisted coding.

The meeting was led by Mr. Nivin P Louis (S6, AIML Dept), who presented the agenda, explained the prompt?generation workflow and guided attendees through the ONDOT build journey. Supporting him, Ms. Haizel Joju (Co-Lead) and Ms. Fathima P (Coordinator) assisted with overall organization, while Ms. Sinda P. Xavier (Faculty Coordinator, Asst. Prof., AIML Dept.) coordinated the activities effectively.

The session saw a good turnout, with 10–11 participants actively engaged throughout the discussion. The interactive format encouraged students to ask questions, clarify doubts, and subscribe to upcoming MuLearn activities.

Key Insights and Highlights

• ONDOT Next journey: Started with the pain point of manually filling lecturewise feedback and ended with a one?click, mobile?ready feedback generator built on Odoo’s API.
• Prompt?driven development: Showed how using ChatGPT with the phrase “any doubt ask me”instantly uncovers tricky edge cases and generates test scripts.
• Odoo & PWA walkthrough: Demonstrated how the ERP portal can be custom?designed and turned into an installable Progressive Web App for phones and tablets.
• Tech stack in plain words: Odoo 15 as the backend, Python scripts for login, a tiny Flask bridge for secure token exchange, and a simple UI built with jQuery/React?lite.
• Hands-on practice: Attendees ran a Python script to log into the ERP backend directly, skipping the usual web interface.Hands?on practice: Attendees ran a Python script to log into the ERP backend directly, skipping the usual web interface.

The workshop successfully achieved its mission of informing, exciting, and inviting students to explore AI?based full stack development. The session laid a strong foundation for continued exploration of prompt generation techniques and the ONDOT project. The enthusiastic involvement of the 10–11 active participants reflected a shared commitment to collaborative learning and innovation, setting the stage for a purposeful academic year 2025 -2026 for MuLearn VAST.
