Bharat Nav Nirman Challenge 2026 : CE HoD receives certificate of appreciation

The Department of Civil Engineering encourages students to engage in a national-level platform that promotes innovation, practical problem-solving, and collaborative learning in the field of civil engineering.

The proudly acknowledges and appreciates the commendable efforts of  Dr. Abhilasha P. S. (Prof, HoD, CE Dept). She was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of her valuable support and dedicated coordination as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Bharat Nav Nirman Challenge. Her consistent efforts in facilitating student participation, ensuring effective communication, and efficiently managing overall coordination played a crucial role in the successful execution of this initiative.

Under her guidance, a team of B.Tech Civil Engineering students from the 2023 batch—– Dharsana M. J (S6,CE Dept), Celin K. Jose (S6,CE Dept) and Srivya E. S(S6,CE Dept) —actively participated in the City Round of the Bharat Nav Nirman Challenge. The event was organized by The Times of India in association with NICMAR University and supported by AICTE. The competition was held on 07 March 2026 at A.J. Hall, Kaloor, Ernakulam, and witnessed participation from approximately 30 engineering colleges across Kerala. The students demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, and active engagement throughout the event.

Their participation reflects the department’s dedication to promoting academic excellence and encouraging students to take part in prestigious national-level platforms. Such initiatives contribute significantly to enhancing students’ practical exposure, teamwork, and innovative thinking.
