Through a dynamic blend of interactive activities, motivational insights, and practical strategies, the session empowered participants to embrace personal growth, strengthen leadership capabilities, foster teamwork, cultivate positive thinking, and pursue success with a purposeful and growth-oriented mindset. |
| The session began with participants reflecting on their purpose in choosing the teaching profession and their responsibilities as educators. An engaging activity called the “60-Second Clapping Activity” was conducted, where participants were expected to stop at 60 seconds but many continued longer, highlighting how people often misjudge limits when engaged in tasks. The ABCD Rule was introduced, where A stands for Almighty, B for Birth, C for Choice, and D for Death, emphasizing that while birth and death are beyond control, life is shaped by one’s choices. |
| The importance of hard work and attitude was also discussed, with the idea that while hard work contributes significantly to success, attitude is equally or even more important. Responsibility and accountability were emphasized, encouraging participants to take ownership of their actions and professional duties. The differences between a leader and a manager were explained through practical examples, highlighting that leaders inspire while managers focus on organization and execution. The session also stressed the importance of empathy and understanding others’ perspectives in both personal and professional life |
| Participants were involved in a continuous-line drawing activity, which demonstrated that problems can have multiple solutions depending on perspective and approach. Teamwork was emphasized through the acronym TEAM—“Together Everyone Achieves More”—and a car analogy that showed how every member’s contribution is essential for success. An extempore activity was conducted where ten teams spoke on topics such as handling difficult situations with courtesy, the power of a smile, first impressions, respect, technology in the workplace, safety, teamwork, and the importance of small actions. The session also explained the role of the conscious and subconscious mind, stating that the conscious mind contributes about 10% while the subconscious mind contributes 90% to behavior and beliefs. It was emphasized that visualization, positive affirmations, and repetition can help achieve success by reshaping thoughts and beliefs. |
