Vidya successfully hosts CUSAT CAT 2026
The dedicated efforts of Vidya’s faculty members and support staff contributed significantly to providing a secure, well-equipped and well-managed examination facility for candidates aspiring to join CUSAT’s B.Tech and postgraduate programmes.
Vidya successfully hosted the CUSAT CAT 2026 examination after being designated as an official examination centre by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) for admissions to its B.Tech and postgraduate programmes.
The examination was conducted at Vidya’s Common Computer Centre (CCC) on 10 and 11 May 2026. A mock test was successfully organised on 08 May 2026 as part of the preparatory measures to verify system readiness, ensure technical stability, and facilitate the seamless conduct of the examination.
The examination proceedings were coordinated efficiently under the leadership of Mr Anil Melepurath (Asst Prof – Seln Grade,ECE Dept). who served as the Centre Coordinator. Mr. Midhun Mohan C M (Handhold Support Engineer, Kerala State IT Mission) served as the Chief Superintendent and Software Support, while Mr. Roshan K C (Section Officer) represented CUSAT as the Observer.
The smooth functioning of the technical infrastructure was ensured under the guidance of Mr. Shali K R (Systems Manager), who coordinated the on-site technical support throughout the examination. He was backed by Mr. Arjun K (IT Support Associate), Mr. Maneesh P P (HW & Network Technician), Mr. Adharsh (HW & Network Technician) and Mr. Praveen (HW & Network Technician). Their coordinated efforts ensured the smooth functioning of the computer systems, network infrastructure, and other technical requirements throughout the examination.
The successful conduct of the examination was further supported by a dedicated team comprising Ms. Ranjima P R (Trade Instructor, CSE Dept), Ms. Sumitha V S (Trade Instructor, MCA), Ms. Aiswarya K P (Trade Instructor, CSE Department), Ms. Vineesha K U (Trade Instructor, CSE Department), Ms. Sandhya Sreekumar (Accountant, VICT) and Ms. Mini N B (Administrative Associate to the Principal – VAST). Their valuable assistance contributed to the effective coordination of various operational and administrative requirements.
The successful hosting of CUSAT CAT 2026 reflects Vidya’s commitment to providing reliable infrastructure, efficient technical support, and well-coordinated facilities for the conduct of major entrance examinations.The collective efforts of the coordinating team, technical personnel, and support staff ensured a smooth and well-organised examination experience for the candidates.
