Selection of Vidya student to represent APJAKTU in the South Zone Chess Championship 2026 – 27
Vidya student’s strategic thinking, and passion for the game have brought recognition to the institution.
Archana M. E. (S3, CSE Dept) has brought pride to the institution by earning selection to the APJAKTU South Zone Chess Championship 2026–2027.
She was initially selected from the E-Zone Tournament to participate in the Inter-Zone Chess Selection Trials. Demonstrating excellent skill and determination during the open selection trials, she secured her place on the APJAKTU University Chess Team.
The APJAKTU Inter-Zone Chess Championships 2026–2027 (Men & Women) were hosted by RIET, Attingal, on 08 and 09 October 2026. Following her commendable performance, Archana was selected to represent the university in the APJAKTU South Zone Chess Championship 2026 – 2027.
