ALZHEIMER’S DAY
Alzheimer?s Day was observed on September 23, 2014 by the Department of Humanities. It was held at 1.30 PM at the PE seminar hall. This function was presided by Dr SudhaBalagopalan (Principal, VAST). Dr S Vishnu (HOD I/C, Humanities), Mr Rajendran(HOD, PE), Ms Divya Radhakrishnan (Assistant Professor(Jr), Humanities), Mr M PHarikrishnan (Junior Faculty, Humanities), Mr Jo Marian (Junior Faculty, Humanities)
and the students of S1S2 CSE B and S3 CSE B. Mr Harikrishnan welcomed thegathering. Ms Divya spoke about the relevance of Alzheimer?s Day and the need to maintain a healthy living to prevent the disease. Dr Sudha Balagopalan addressed the gathering. The charts prepared by the students of S1S2 CSE B were put on display. A competition was held to choose the best chart. The team consisting of Ms Nimisha Nasar,
Kiran Raj, Navaneeth D, Lloyd, Pranoy and Sandeep K (S1S2 CSE B) were chosen as the best one. Mr Harikrishnan presented the vote of thanks
