AION – 2016

Departments of Applied Sciences and Humanities cel ebrated the National Science Day-AION- 2016: Science-Fest of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Thrissur on 17, February 2016. The programme was organized for S 2 B. T ec h students. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Sunil K Narayanankutty (Professor, PS&RT Dept., CUSAT). The chief guest delivered a highly motivational talk on the Focal theme of National Science Day 2016, “Make in India: Science &Technology driven innovations”. Dr. S. Satheesh, (Professor a n d H e a d of the Department of Applied Sciences, VAST) welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sudha Balagopalan, (Principal, VAST) presided over the function. Dr. V. N. Krishnachandran (Vice Principal, VAST) felicitated the function. Dr. S. Vishnu, (Professor a n d H e a d of the Department of Humanities, VAST) proposed the vote of thanks. Elocution, Quiz and Project Exhibition Competition for S 2 B. Tech students based on the focal theme was also conducted.
