A team of five students of the 2014 admissions batch of B Tech (ECE) has brought laurels to the College by winning the quarter finals of the national-level India Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 (IICDC 2017). This is a great achievement for the College considering the fact that the contest was open for all Indian engineering students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Indian engineering colleges. The contest attracted more than 20,000 entries of which 15830 entries were qualified for Phase II. Among those qualified in Phase II, only 73 teams have crossed the quarter final stage. Among those 73 teams, there is one and only one team from Kerala, and that team is from Vidya! The students who made this highly commendable achievement are Aftab Ashraf A V, Aishwarya Pradip, Aiswarya Rajeev, Anjali P and Akash Sathian.
News & Events Editorial Team salutes the five stars of the ECE Dept for their unique achievement.
