Dr Sudha Balagopalan, along with NSS volunteers, attend Autism Centre Inauguration

A team of NSS volunteers of Vidya, along with Dr Sudha Balagopalan, Dean-Academics, attended the inaugural ceremony of the renovated Autism Centre at Aranattukara Government UP school on 08 November 2018. The programme was inaugurated by Adv V S Sunil Kumar (Honourable Agriculture Minister). Ms Ajitha Jayarajan (Mayor, Thrissur Municipal Corporation) and Mr C N Jayadevan (MP) graced the occasion with their presence. In the forenoon session, a seminar on “Caring and Training of Students Suffering from Autism” was handled by Dr Sudha Balagopalan.  As part of the inaugural ceremony, various cultural programmes were conducted by students of the Autism Centre and from various other schools. NSS volunteers of Vidya also took part in the cultural events by performing a dance item.
