Vidya celebrates Children’s Day with autistic children

The NSS units of Vidya, in association with Aranattukara Autism Center, arranged Children’s Day celebration with autistic children on 16 November 2018 at College Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Mr Anil Meleppurath (NSS Programme Officer). Around 15 NSS volunteers and almost 50 children  and their parents actively participated in the programme. The aim of the programme was to interact with the children and to understand them and to make their mind free from tensions and all. As part of the programme, many activities were conducted like musical chair, dancing, singing etc.  Principal Dr Saji C B, Dean-Academics Dr Sudha Balagopalan, NSS Programme Officer Mr. Anil M,  faculty and staff members of the College interacted with students.  The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks from Mr. Anil M (NSS PO) and NSS volunteers.
