NSS units’ Punarjani at Anthikkad, Guruvayur and Kadangode Ayurveda Hospitals
Punarjani is a state-wide initiative of the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board and the Technical Cell of the National Service Scheme (NSS) aimed at repairing damaged and out-of-use furniture and other health-care facilities at government hospitals across the State, by making use of the services of NSS technical cell volunteers. The NSS volunteers of Vidya have actively participated in the implementation of this initiative from its very inception. Recently, the NSS units organised activities under this scheme in Govt Ayurveda Hospitals located at Anthikad, Guruvayur and Kadangode.
- At Government Ayurveda Hospital, Anthikad, on 16 – 17 April 2019. As many as 70 NSS volunteers participated in the camp. Mrs Ajitha S (Programme Coordinator, NSS Technical Cell, Kerala) visited the camp.
- At Government Ayurveda Hospital, Guruvayur, on 13 – 14 April 2019. As many as 12 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme.
- At Government Ayurveda Hospital, Kadangode, on 13 – 14 April 2019. As many as 47 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme. Dr Hasna (Head of Hospital) appreciated the services being rendered by the NSS volunteers
