Sad demise of a beloved student of CE Dept

It is with profound regret and sadness the Editorial Team of News & Events is reporting the demise of one of Vidya students Melvin E K studying in the S7 B Tech (CE) batch on 3 November 2020. The faculty, staff and students of the CE Dept were in a state of disbelief and shock on hearing the news as Melvin was a good student of the Dept diligently pursuing academics and actively involving in all Dept activities , and also helping his fiends in whatever way he could. The Editorial Team understands that the demise occurred due an electric shock.

The Editorial Team joins all in the College in conveying condolences to the bereaved family and prays for peace and happiness to his soul in his heavenly abode.

The College organised an online condolence meeting in which the Principal Dr Saji C B, Dean-Academics Dr Sudha Balagopalan and Head of CE Dept Dr Justine C Jose spoke, and a condolence message was read.
