EEE Dept conducts exclusive and intensive placement training

The EEE Dept of Vidya conducted a two weeks long interactive placement training session in the online mode during 21 July – 2 August 2021 for assisting the students of the Dept to get placements in core branches of engineering. All the sessions  were held in the presence of Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Professor in EEE and Dean-Academics), Dr Mary  P Varghese (Head of EEE Dept), Mr Sankaran Nampoothiri K, Ms Athira S Babu and Ms Sheeja G, all Group Tutors and Assistant Professors in EEE Dept. It was organised as an orientation session  for the students who had shown interest in the placement opportunity by Energy Space Renewables. The aim of the training was to refresh their fundamentals, to get an overview on the latest trends in the renewable sector and also to improve their presentation and communication skills.

Dr Sudha Balagopalan shared her experiences in industry and also gave valuable tips for facing technical interviews.The students made various presentations on fundamentals on Electrical Engineering as well as on relevant topics on Renewable Energy Sources and Techniques. All the teachers gave valuable suggestions and motivational tips to the students.

As many as 25 students benefited from  the sessions.
