EEE Dept conducts orientation session for ‘ROOTS’ candidates

An orientation program was conducted  on 28 August 2022 at 7.30  pm through online  for the selected  students who are expected to  attend the second phase interview for ‘ROOTS’ scholarship

“ROOTS” is a noble scholarship  scheme, instituted by the Alumni of the EEE Dept of Vidya  to nurture gifted and  deserving students for a great future reveals a sense of trust  and the college experience meant to them by willingness to give back .

The orientation programme served as good platform to see that the students realize the genuine attitude of the senior students / alumni and  to resolve vagueness, ambiguities about the ‘ROOTS’ scheme . This session also provided the students to the familiarization of campus environment, department and involvement of  members of staff in the Dept to the various academic activities . The session also hold  the cherished memories of Alumni. Dr Sudha Balagopalan  (Dean – Academics), Dr Mary P Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept) , members of staff in the EEE  Dept and alumni attended the session.
