ME students bring a magnificent past alive by celebrating Kerala Piravi with the inmates of Nirmala Sadan
Our students regularly get involved in social service activities.
‘Pranathi’ is a charity event that has been carried out by the ME Dept for the past few years. This year, the students from ME Dept organised ‘Pranathi’ on 01 November 2022. As many as 25 students of the ME Dept along with Mr Biju P V (Asso Prof, ME Dept ) and Mr Anil Paul (Asst Prof, ME Dept) visited Nirmala Sadan, Edakkalathur and hosted lunch and cultural programs for the inmates.
Nirmala Sadan is a shelter home for mentally and physically challenged adults. The celebration started with cutting of the cake and it was indeed a visual treat to witness the ease with which the inmates were dancing and singing with our students. The administrators of Nirmala Sadan shared their gratitude and added that the memories will be cherished for a lifetime.
