NSS Volunteers carry out cleaning drive in Cheppara
The NSS volunteers of Vidya support the requirement of selfless service by conducting social outreach programs. The latest in to this array is a cleaning drive in an emerging tourist spot of the city, The Cheppara Rock Garden. This spot has fallen prey to littering & irresponsible tourism where many tourists left behind plastic covers, water bottles & similar trash etc. This initiative by NSS VAST volunteers made a big difference to the face of Cheppara.
NSS Programme Officers, Mr Rajesh S K (Asso Prof, EEE Dept) and Mr Shine P Xavier (Asst Prof, CSE Dept) co-ordinated the event .
