Vidya reverberates with Christmas festivities

The entire campus of Vidya appeared gorgeous with balloons, stars, bells , tinsel and Christmas trees decorated with twinkling lights. The students in their bright and elaborate costumes were a delight to watch. Vidya reverberated with traditional Christmas carols rendering the air festive, with gospel bands mesmerizing  the celebrators with songs like ‘Jingle Bells’ on 23 December  2022. It was that time of the year when all Vidyites celebrated along with heart-warming programs, food and merriment.

Various departments of  the college organised programmes to celebrate this spirit with great gusto by attractive titles like ‘Ambu Perunnal  by CE Dept,  ‘Holidaze’ by CSE Dept, PSYCH XMAS by EEE Dept,  ‘MEXMAS’ by ME Dept, AIGENIX by AIML Dept, Holidaze’  by ECE Dept  and ESTRELLA ‘22  by MCA . Dept of CSE also organized a ‘Christmas Photography Contest’ which  left the participants  with more memories to cherish the celebratory mood. In the CE Dept, World Cup Prediction Winners were recognized and gifts were handed over to  the Winners on this occasion.

Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, all the  departments presented cultural extravaganza and exhibited the real spirit of the festival. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all students. The cake cutting ceremony brought smiles to all the faces. The event was conducted under the guidance of Heads of various Depts, Discipline Team, departmental faculty co-ordinators and student co-ordinators .

The day ended on a happy note with good wishes from the Heads of Depts and faculty members imbibing the true message of Christmas – love, joy and goodwill to all.
