Vidya hosts ‘Federal Bank – Mathrubhumi Speak for India 2023’

Vidya always offers maximum opportunity to boost the real potential of younger minds in response to the public needs at the micro-level . With this motto, Vidya has been serving a perfect platform to host many electrifying contests / competitions  with equal enthusiasm, knowledge and power.

 The block-level competition of the seventh edition of ‘Federal Bank – Mathrubhumi Speak for India Kerala Edition’, India’s largest debate program jointly organized by Federal Bank and ‘Mathrubhumi’, was held in Vidya on 16 January 2023. The second block wise debate competition on ‘College hostels should exercise time regulations‘ was well participated by the students studying in various colleges in Thrissur district. Participants were allowed  to choose their preferred language between English and Malayalam.

Aditya Sunil (S5, CSE Dept) performed for the theme song of  ‘Speak for India 2023’. The students expressed their stand by stating numerous points in one minute. The panel of judges was highly impressed with the quality of the debate.

The event was inaugurated by Mr Sandeep P Sasi (Sr. Manager & Branch Head, Federal Bank, Kecheri Branch). Mr Vinod P Narayan (Unit Manager, Mathrubhumi Thrissur) attended the event. Dr Saji C B (Principal, VAST) encouraged the participants with his enlightening felicitation speech. The event was conducted with the support of IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center). Mr Anil M (IEDC Nodal Officer and Asst Prof, ECE Dept) co-ordinated the event.
