UTS awareness campaign by NSS units of Vidya

In a bid to support UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) on mobile app, the NSS units of Vidya had conducted an awareness session at Thrissur Railway Station during 15- 19 May 2023. Now the second phase UTS awareness campaign was held on 22 June 2023.

The app UTS, has been developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) through which the passengers can book unreserved tickets online. More than 60 volunteers actively engaged themselves in giving proper guidance to the people on how to register and book tickets with the help of application.

Mr R N Singh (Southern Railway General Manager),Mr S M Sharma (Divisional Railway Manager, Trivandrum) and Mr Jerin G Anand (Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Trivandrum)  attended their campaign and appreciated the volunteers in successfully completing the first phase weekly awareness campaign on UTS.
