FDP ‘Achieving Academic Excellence : Best practices & Innovative Teaching’ started with inspiring sessions of progress

Vidya maintains skillful and competent staff members in order to achieve exceptional standards in all the disciplines offered by the college . In alignment with this, Vidya recruits the talented staff members to meet the changing requirements of the core curriculum and teaching.

With an aim to provide the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to excel in their teaching roles and contribute effectively to our academic community, a Five-day Faculty Development Programme ‘Achieving Academic Excellence : Best practices & Innovative Teaching’ organized by IQAC VAST in association with ISTE & IE VAST Chapter started from 22 July 2024 onwards.

The inaugural function of this training programme was held on 22 July 2024.Dr Sunitha C (Principal) inaugurated the program. Mr Sureshlal (Executive Director, VICT), heads of academic departments and staff members attended the function.

Research Projects, Funding, Sponsoring Agencies, Academic writing & Publication by Dr Nikhil S ( Asst. Prof, NIT Calicut) prepared the participants to meet the varying needs of the syllabus, teaching, research and consultancy. The Valedictory Function is scheduled on 26 July 2024. The FDP is co-ordinating by Dr. Mary P Varghese (Co-ordinator,,HoD,EEE Dept) and Dr Sreedevi A (Asso Prof, AS Dept)
