Pledge taken to fight against drug abuse

The battle against drug abuse in the midst of the youth of India is of key concern.

In accordance with the directive from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, the NSS Units of Vidya conducted the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – anti-drug pledge campaign on 12 August  2024, within the campus. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan is a flagship campaign to enhance the evidence based approach towards substance abuse .

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted where students took the pledge, and the volunteers actively coordinated the event, ensuring enthusiastic participation from everyone involved. Aruna R Menon (NSS Volunteer Secretary, S5, CSE Dept) administered the pledge 

The session was conducted under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officers, Mr Rajesh S K (Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Ms Vandana M (Asst Prof,ECE Dept) and Ms Delmy Varghese (Asst Prof, CSE Dept).
