NSS Volunteers undertake beautification work at Velur Anganwadi

As part of their ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility, the NSS volunteers of organized a painting and beautification project at Velur Anganwadi on 02 January 2025. The initiative aimed to provide a clean, colorful, and engaging environment for the children attending the Anganwadi, enhancing both the aesthetics and the overall ambiance of the facility. This effort aligns with the NSS mission of fostering community development through volunteerism and collective action.

On this day, a total of 21 volunteers actively participated in this initiative, focusing on cleaning and painting the fence wall, Anganwadi walls, and children’s park items such as swings and slides. Their efforts brought a vibrant new look to the facility, making it more appealing and inviting for the children. The dedication and teamwork of the volunteers were widely appreciated by the local community.

The activity was expertly coordinated by the NSS Volunteer Secretaries, including, Mrithyunjay R (S5, EEE Dept), Devika Mothilal (S5, ECE Dept), Obadh Jose (S5, ME Dept), and Adarsh N A (S5, ME Dept). Their meticulous planning and unwavering dedication played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the program.

The faculty coordinators, Mr. Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer and Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Mr. Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer and Asst Asso, ME Dept), Ms. Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer and Asst Asso, CSE Dept) and Ms. Anu Maria Antony (NSS Program Officer and Asst Asso, CE Dept), provided valuable guidance and support throughout the event. Their involvement was instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of the activity.

The beautification work carried out by the NSS volunteers not only enhanced the visual appeal of the Anganwadi but also created a more inviting and cheerful environment for the children.
