EEE Dept & VIBE Team conduct workshop on “Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security for School Students”

The rapid growth of Technology  has increased the risk of Cyber Security threats, making it essential for school students to understand the basics of cyber security and ethical hacking

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in collaboration with  VIBE (Vidya Initiative for Better Engineering)  conducted a Workshop on “Ethical hacking and Cyber Security” on 14 March 2025 at Nirmalamatha Central School, East Fort Thrissur. As a certified ethical hacker, Mr Arun P R (Trade Instructor, EEE Dept) guided the students through the fascinating world of ethical hacking and shared real-life examples that helped them understand the importance of cyber security.

A total of 66 plus two  Students from the school participated in the event. Students learned about ethical hacking and its importance in computer systems and networks.
