CE Dept conducts site visit to GUPS Parlikad, Thrissur

With an aim to provide functional planning suggestions for spaces such as Kaliyidam, Varayidam, and other similar areas within the context of the Varankoodaram Project, a one day site visit was done by 9 students of the final year Civil Engineering Department to GUPS Parlikad, Wadakkanchery, Thrissur  on 14 February 2025.

The primary goal of the visit was The project aims to design and develop 14 dynamic spaces that will be used by Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) students at GUPS Parlikad. These spaces are part of an initiative to enhance the overall learning environment and facilitate both creative and functional educational activities for school children.

The team visited the school to understand the current needs of the students and the physical layout of the school, providing critical feedback and suggestions for functional planning of the proposed spaces. The spaces are to be designed to ensure that they meet the educational and social needs of children, promoting creativity, physical activity, collaboration, and well-being.
