Inauguration of Decennial Celebrations

Vidya  Academy  of  Science  &  Technology  is  celebrating  the  decennium  of  the establishment of the college this year. The inaugural function was held on Monday, 17th September 2012 at 9.30 am in the College Auditorium.  One year long celebrations were inaugurated  by  Dr.  M.  Abdul  Salam,  Hon’ble  Vice  Chancellor,  University  of  Calicut  by Unveiling  the  Plaque,  Releasing  the  Logo  and  launching  the  website  of  Decennial celebrations.

Dr.  Sudha  Balagopalan  (Principal,  VAST)  welcomed  the  gathering.  Er.  G. Mohanachandran  (Executive  Director,  VICT)  Presided  over  the  function.   Dr.P.Pratapachandran  Nair  (Prof.  Emeritus,  VAST)  introduced  the  chief  guest  to  the audience.  Dr.K.B.Maheswaran  Nambudiripad  (Visiting  Professor,  VAST),  Prof. V.A.Sudhakaran  (Head,  Dept.  of  Civil  Engg.),  Sri.  Suresh  Warrier  (President,  PTA),  Sri Nitin  Padmanabhan  (Treasurer,  Vidya  Alumni Association ),  Sri.  Hariprasad(General Secretary,  Student  Senate)  felicitated  the  function.  Dr.M.N.Agnisarman  Namboodiri (General Convener, Decennial Celebrations ) proposed vote of Thanks.
