SEMINAR – “ANTI ADDICTION”

On 22nd August 2016, a seminar on the topic “Anti Addiction” was conducted in the college auditorium. Mr. Prabhu Varyar, the senior reporter of Kerala Kaumuthi delivered the welcome speech. The presidential address  was delivered by our beloved principal Dr. Sudha Balagopalan. Dr. A. Kaushikan, District Collector inaugurated the program with his inspirational speech.  The chief guest of the program was C. Jayandhivasan, Assistant. Excise Commissioner. N.S Kiran, unit chief of Kaumuthy also showed up his presence in the program. Mr.Farshad, Sub-Inspector     of Police, Kunnamkulam and Mr. G. Mohanachandran,Executive Director of Vidya International Charitable Trust  felicitated the gathering. P. Ramachandran, civil excise officer presented the seminar on Anti Addiction. The video on  drug abuse evoked the real hazards of drugs on everybody. Later, a pledge on anti drug addiction was also taken by the students. The seminar presentation not only gave awareness to the students, but also made them capable to inspire  others to the right path.
