Republic Day 2017

Vidya NSS unit celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day with great enthusiasm on 26th January 2017.  Mr. Vinod Kumar, Associate Program Officer of NSS hoisted the National Flag which was followed by NSS song and sweet distribution afterwards. Republic day message was delivered  by Ms. Aswathy P, Program Officer, NSS. This was followed by patriotic poem and speech by NSS volunteers. Then a  session on  ‘Financial Literacy’ was handled by Ms. Divya Radhakrishnan, Associate Program Officer, NSS. As part of cleaning campaign, NSS volunteers gathered around Kadaleevanam area and cleaned the premises. Public awareness speech on ‘Financial Literacy’ were made in groups at different locations in Thrissur city by NSS volunteers as part of Republic day celebration.
