Research Scholar from IIT Delhi talks about research and higher education in Civil Engineering

On a special invitation from the Civil Engineering Department of the College, Mr. Muhammed Safeer, Research Scholar, IIT Delhi, visited the Department on 18 August 2017 and interacted with the students of the Department. During the forenoon session, he gave a lecture on “Research areas in Structural Engineering” to the M Tech students and in the afternoon session he gave a talk on “Scenarios of higher education in Civil Engineering” to the third year B Tech students of the Department. The lectures were aimed at motivating students to take up higher studies in Civil Engineering as a serious option.
