NSS volunteers take part in flood relief works at VKN Indoor Stadium

As a flood-relief activity, Kerala Govt had decided to distribute kits containing essential items like rice etc to those who were returning to homes from Flood Relief Camps. The VKN Indoor Stadium in Thrissur City was one of the venues for preparing these kits. On 28 – 29 August 2018, nearly 60 NSS volunteers of Vidya took part in the activities in the Indoor Stadium. Volunteers helped in the packing of the items and also helped in loading the materials into the trucks and the distribution of items to affected areas.
