NSS volunteers of Vidya conduct socio-economic survey of neighbouring Grama Panchayath residents

The volunteers of the NSS units of Vidya conducted a socio-economic survey of the residents of Choondal, Velur and Kaiparambu Grama Panchayaths on 27 December 2018. A total of 134  NSS volunteers participated in the programme. Volunteers were divided into 18 groups and each group was assigned about 12 houses for carrying out the survey. The survey was conducted as per the questionnaire provided by the authorities. The questionnaire contained questions relating to the living conditions of the people including questions on the use of water resources, electricity, fuel for cooking, agricultural practices etc.
