They train in disaster management and trauma care

A  team of eight volunteers of the NSS units of Vidya attended a state-level three-day camp christened “Jagratha 2019” organised by the College of Engineering, Aranmula, during 5 – 7 April 2019. The camp was to give intensive training in disaster management and trauma care. The camp began with an interactive session by Mr Babu Sankar. The officials of the Department of Fire and Rescue Services, Govt of Kerala,  conducted a class on disaster management and emergency rescue system. A practical training session on rescue and evacuation procedures was also provided for the volunteers. The volunteers from Vidya who attended the camp were Akhil Krishna V A, Vyshak Krishnan, Vyshak A, Nirmal Bino, Subhash, Aiswarya Boban, Anjana K and Amoolya.
