CSE Dept organises CSE Association Meet Day

On 11 May 2019, the CSE Dept of the College organised an inspirational programme christened “CSE Association Meet Day”, a prestigious  event every student and every teacher of the Dept  had been looking forward to.The programme commenced with an invocation followed by a welcome address by Vishnu Sathish representing the CSE Association. Dr Ramani Bai (Prof and Head, CSE Dept), the brain behind the CSE Association Meet Day, delivered the inaugural speech. CSE Association representatives made a presentation detailing the various activities of the Dept conducted during  the academic year 2018 – 19.

The main motive behind organising such a programme was to create a platform to recognize the academic and non-academic talents of the department for the year 2018-2019. The students who had secured placements, who had cleared the GATE, who had topped University Examinations and all who had excelled in some way were honoured during the programme.

The GEM of CSE and The Pride of CSE

Gautham Krishna of S8 B Tech CSE A batch was presented with the title of “The GEM of CSE”  and Jincy P S of S8 B Tech CSE B batch was bestowed the title of “The Pride of CSE“. The teachers appreciated their performance and they addressed the gathering. As the seniors are going to bid adieu , some of their representatives, delivered inspirational speeches to the juniors. Ms Mahalakshmy (AP, CSE Dept) and Mr Ravishankar S felicitated all the distinguished students of the CSE Dept. There were a few musical entertainment programmes also. The  programme  ended with a vote of thanks of Sarang, Treasurer of the CSE Association.
