Vidya alumni extend support to fight against Corona by donating health-care kits

In Kaiparambu Gramapanchayath

The alumni of the 2003 – 07 B Tech batch of Vidya donated healthcare kits to the healthcare workers and volunteers of Kaiparambu Gramapanchayath engaged in COVID19 care activitie. Each kit contained  a sanitizer bottle, hand wash, soap, bath wet wipes, gloves, masks, a hand towel and a bootle of disinfecting liquid.

The healthcare kits were donated in a function held at the premises of the njattuvella chandha of the Gramapanchayath at Mundur. Mr Rakesh, Health Inspector welcomed the gathering and Mr. C K Paulson, Board Member, Mundur Services Cooperative Bank, presided the function. Mr. C G Anto, Kaiparambu Gramapanchayath President, inaugurated the function. Er Jinto A J and Mr Ajin Aravind represented the 2003-07 alumni batch and handed over the kits to the Gramapanchayath President. The kits were then handed over to Mr Benson Benny Panchayath Youth Coordinator. The function was attended by Mr Ramesh C R, Joint Secretary, Vidya Alumni Association and Mr Sarath Mohan, Krishi Officer. Mr Jose, Board Member, Mundur Services Cooperative Bank delivered the vote of thanks.


In Velur Gramapanchayath

Vidya alumni donated healthcare kits to healthcare workers and volunteers of Velur Gramanchayath engaged in COVID-19 care activities. Each kit contained a bottle of sanitizer, hand wash, soap, bath wet wipes, gloves, masks,  a hand towel and a bottle of disinfecting liquid. The kits were handed over to Mrs Sherly Dileepkumar, President, Velur Gramapanchayath by Mr Ajin Aravind, Vice President, Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA). The moment was graced by the presence of Murali Master (Member – Ward 3) and Mr Ramesh C R, Joint Secretary, Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA).


In Venkidangue Gramapanchayath

Vidya alumni donated healthcare kits to healthcare workers and volunteers of Venkitangu Gramanchayath engaged in COVID-19 care activities. Each kit contained a bottle of sanitizer, hand wash, soap, bath wet wipes, gloves, masks,  a hand towel and a bottle of disinfecting liquid. The healthcare kits were handed over to Dr Francis Jimmy Jose, Medical Officer (in charge), Community Health Care, Venkitangu by Mr Ajin Aravind, Vice President, Vidya Alumni Association. Mr Mahesh P, Mr Sreenath G, MrGirish P and Ms Jessy, all Junior Health Inspectors, also attended the function.
