IEDC Vidya organised a digital conference on “Key to Corporate World” on 21 October 2020 via the Google Meet Platform.

Inauguration
The session commenced with an invocation. The welcome address was delivered by Ms Asha Thomas Fenn, a skillful problem solver with 34 years of fruitful experience as an academician, trainer, educational consultant and corporate relations manager. Dr C B Saji, Principal, delivered the presidential address. The inaugural address was by Mr Joseph M P. It was a privilege to the participants to hear from a man who had served at the UN’s International Labour Organization for two decades and who had served as an Advisor to Government of India.
Mr Abdurahiman Chalil, Managing Director, DBI, Markaz Knowledge City, talked about “Industry Revolution 4.0 and Way Forward”. The head of HR Operations of Reliance Retail Business in the capacity of Asst Vice President Mr Riju Antony shared his views about “HR-Perceptive in New Scenario”. The CEO of DT Next-Daily Thanthi Mr Ninan Thariyan spoke about “How Corporate Ready Are You”. The MD of Facets Group of Clinics and Founder Member-Academy of Advanced Dental Science Dr Seby Varghese pointed out the importance of “Mother Earth -Bonding”. The CEO and Founder of Innovature and Pinmicro, IT start-up companies based in India and Japan Mr Ravindranath A V talked about “Technology Today”.
Panel discussion
When one moderates effectively, he/she manages the audience and the panel members so that everyone benefits. The purpose of a panel discussion is to bring a group of experts to share and build upon each other’s experience.The invited guests attended a panel discussion on “Pandemic: Epitome of Opportunities”. The panelists included:
- Mr Riju Antony (AVP & Head HR, Reliance Trends), a competent professional with 25 years of experience in B2B and Key Account Management Retail Operations, Distribution Management, and Digital Business.

One day of intensive corporate engagement where future managers got an opportunity to meet and interact with the best of corporate minds from diverse sectors to learn, unlearn and relearn professional aspects of the corporate world.
A door is much smaller compared to the house, a lock is much smaller compared to the door and a key is the smallest of all but a key can open the entire house. Thus a small thoughtful solution can solve major problems.
